I've had too many defining moments,
Too many for my liking;
more terrifying is the thought that there must,
of course, be many more.

They do occupy a certain space,
where without them,
i would not have these wrinkles, about my face.
More worry than for laughter,
though those 'defining' moments have nothing
on the small details of everyday.
Have nothing on the words that form,
our feelings of each people
loving or lethal.

Why you remember those moments you do,
they may not bring joy,
but they may bring part of you.
